Damn good.

Dude, this is brilliant.
I know I should have asked first, but I just threw this into FL Studio and made a backbeat to it. Is that okay with you? xD
All credits to you of course.

wyldfyre1 responds:

Sure, i don't see a problem with it. I don't think F-777 would mind either.

Ahhhh.

So..
chill.

Honestly, I'm a college student.. and I've had a tough past week. Made my day so much more peaceful. Thank you.

DanceNation responds:

No Prob :P

Amazing!

I don't hear music on NG with vox, and this is just amazing..
Great voice man, what voice VSTs do you use? I can sing decently, but I never knew how to add good effects and stufff. Also, what mic are you using?

Only suggestion, your voice is really drowning out the drums for a lot of parts. Your voice is really good, so it's not bad, but maybe your should mix your drums a tad higher and then turn up the volume on your vox just a tad. :D

Amazing, besides that. :D

Cooool.

I liked it a lot, especially the change from the vox to the gated synth right in the beginning. However, the piano doubling the vox is kinda repetitive and the Kick and Snare are suuuper drowned out by the lead. Some of the notes don't seem to fit in the melody at times. For example you go high in the lead a few times, and I expect it to go higher because of the chords of the song, but it drops back again.. it's sorta anticlimactic in that way.
This song could be really, really awesome.. I think. :D

Cool,

but what it going at like 1:39?
Vox in a different key + a Dubstep Bass? :p

Besides that weird part, I think you are really beast at D'nB. But, I still listen to Eternity a few times a week. Your masterpiece, imo. :D

Eight for catchiness. (7+1)

Lotta distortion.
PM me, if you want to know how to get rid of it. It's actually pretty simple. :p
Nice melody, but 1:58-2:16.. this isn't hardstyle (don't get me wrong, hardstyle is my FAV), haha. :D
Need i say the word variety again though? :p

Instead of the CH on the upbeat at the end, try an OH for the more classic sound.
The filtering up out was kinda hard to hear, maybe make it ground at the end?
Same FX from our collab.. :p Change it up some. :)
Nice opening, btw, I liked it.

Unrl responds:

Weeeeell.. I made this a looooong time ago. I don't want to do another remix because everyone will be like 'OMGWTFBBQ YOU MADE ANOTHER VERSION'. Thanks for the feedback again, and for the score. It does not deserve straight tens. I do agree with everything you've said. You will make a powerful ally.

Mk, so:

I kinda want to remix this song. :p
It's silly, happy, cheesy, and quite repetitive.. and I think with some harmonies and a few more melodies.. yeah. :D

Maybe even a Happy Hardcore rmx..? hrm.
Lemme know. :D

Unrl responds:

Chaha. This is really fun, and I'm proud of how well I could make it given the experience I had at that time. =) Thanks for reviewing, and for the honest score.

Needs better structure, but still good!

The structure could use quite a bit of work, and there is almost no transitioning. :p

It just kinda goes ABCABCABC (not exactly), but I hope you know what I mean. There's no transitioning between parts which is the roughest. Also, it needs -much- more variation in melody and synths. Harmonies would be really nice; there are a bunch in the original, which is why this one sounds kinda dry.

Mastering could also use some work. One other thing, the song is in like overdrive-mode the entire song, so it's pretty hard on the ears.

Also: the swung section (0:42 - 1:05) in the beginning was really odd. :p
Jazz + Tetris = huh?

The switch from 8bit to screaming synths would be eased along by some FX or maybe another form of transitioning. The quick change is really effective if used sparingly.

To the positive: I really, really enjoyed the new melody you put in there, imo: it's the best part of the song. (0:30 - 0:41)

Overall = 7 + 1 ( +1 since you're cool and your new melody was nice :D)

Unrl responds:

Haha thanks for reviewing mate! I know what you mean about everything haha, and yeah a lot of mixing needs to be done. I've got a better mixed/quality version but now NG won't let me edit the song =\

Yo!

Hey, haha. Long time no talk man. We should mos def do another collab sometime. All my friends loved this one too. :D

Unrl responds:

Yeah of course dude! I'm keen. Your work and mine deserves that ten lol.

Wow! Another Indian, haha.

I thought I was the only one. :D

I liked the bhangra style beat.. cool tablas and percussion. I think you should pump up the sound on the tabla for sure, and maybe the dholak slightly if your mixer ever lets you. :)

I was really excited to find this, I just think you could have made it more Indian, melodically. Use some Indian scales or ragas. Maybe use some sa-re-ga-ma-pa-dha-ne-sa stuff, I'm sure you know what I mean. :D

I just got back from India a few days ago, and the beat reminded me of there. :)
Nice work.

LK412 responds:

:D!!!!!!

I came back from india 2 weeks ago :O!!!

I was listening to some Bollywood songs and wanted to sample some Punjabi MC songs but i didnt get the time.

I really want to make some more, indian music is honestly amazing IMO.
